“Gouden Carolus Single Malt is a refined whiskey distilled from the mash of Gouden Carolus Tripel. A first for Belgium are the hand hammered, copper pot stills in which the barley mash is distilled. This results in a pure and clear spirit. The ageing in First Fill Bourbon casks followed by a further ageing in Anker casks (wooden casks made by a cooper in accordance with our own specifications) has resulted in a refined whiskey with a full and balanced taste. The subtle fruit aromas are nicely supplemented by notes of wood and vanilla.”
